Artist Statement

This inspiration began with the peacock: sufficiently noble and magnificent, while its colors possess a sense of sophistication. The eyes on the peacock feathers resemble jewels. As times have changed, skateboarding is no longer a sport limited to a certain social group. This design uses the bride as the theme and the Zero brand's specialty (skulls) as a combination to create the concept of a ghost bride.
